Childress Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a thriving martial arts establishment located in Pueblo, CO, offering specialized training programs for various age groups. With classes tailored for CUBS ages 4-6, CUBS ages 7-12, and TEENS & ADULTS, the academy caters to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Founded in May 2020 by Coach Josh, the academy was born out of a deep commitment to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for students to continue their journey in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Following the closure of Jackson’s MMA Association in Pueblo, Coach Josh seized the opportunity to create a space where his students could thrive and grow. Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic in March 2020, the academy’s doors officially opened in June 2020, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the local martial arts community. Coach Josh’s dedication to his students, whom he considers family, is reflected in the academy’s philosophy of fostering a sense of community, discipline, and personal growth through the practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Located at 1216 S. Prairie Avenue, Childress Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy stands as a beacon of resilience and passion in the face of adversity. Through expert coaching, tailored programs, and a supportive team, the academy aims to empower individuals to reach their full potential both on and off the mat.
