Chon Reneé Dance Academy (CRDA) is Vallejo’s Theatrical Dance Studio offering classes in dance arts both onsite in Vallejo and offsite at various locations around the Bay Area. CRDA provides a non-competitive environment where dance transforms and enriches lives, not only for the artists but also for the community. With a focus on building confidence for the dance floor and the real world, CRDA offers exposure to various performance platforms, character and confidence building, community involvement, and a family-like community.
CRDA’s mission is to offer well-rounded training in dance techniques, performance skills, acting, and stage presence. The academy, founded by Chon Reneé, a choreographer, professional dancer, and creative producer, ensures that all aspects of the dance program, including music, material, costumes, and choreography, are age-appropriate, ethical, and tasteful at all times. Students at CRDA have the opportunity to perform year-round in the Vallejo community at events such as the Juneteenth Celebration, 4th of July Parade, and various senior living communities.
