Eleanor Cole Academy of Dance, Gymnastics, and Cheerleading is a longstanding establishment in the Muncie community and surrounding areas, with a rich history dating back to 1948. Under the direction of Tracy Navas since 2007, Cole Academy offers a wide range of programs including dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading, catering to both recreational students and competitive teams. The academy prides itself on providing top-notch tumbling and warrior classes, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for all participants.
With a newly built Morrison location that opened in 2018, Cole Academy has expanded its offerings to include the Twisters Gymnastics Team and COLE All-Star Cheerleaders. This facility is dedicated to cheerleading, tumbling, and warrior classes, accommodating students of all levels. The original Keesling location, fondly referred to as the “OG,” features spacious dance studios and a fully equipped gymnasium, serving as the hub for dance and gymnastics classes, as well as hosting award-winning Performing Lines and Dance Companies.
Students at Cole Academy have the opportunity to showcase their talents through annual recitals at Emens Auditorium, in-house recreational tumbling meets, and performances at various community events.
