Eola Community Center, established in 1993 through a collaboration between the Fox Valley Park District and the City of Aurora Public Library, is a 63,000-square-foot facility nestled within 15 acres of community park space. The center offers a wide range of amenities and services, including open gym sessions for various sports and age groups, child care services for ages 2 to 11, and event hosting facilities with modern amenities. Eola Community Center aims to enrich the community by providing diverse and safe park and recreation experiences while adhering to environmentally and fiscally responsible practices.
With a mission to promote vibrant and healthy lifestyles, the Fox Valley Park District, to which Eola Community Center belongs, serves a population of over 236,000 people across Aurora, Montgomery, and North Aurora. As an Illinois Distinguished Agency and recipient of the National Gold Medal Award for excellence in park and recreation management, the District maintains 168 parks, 48 miles of inter-connected regional trails, and 2,500 acres of parkland.
