The Navy Fitness Program aims to promote “Fitness for Life” for the entire Navy community, offering individual and group instruction in cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, flexibility, and nutrition. The MWR Fitness Center on base provides access to certified fitness professionals and top-notch equipment, including free weights, cardio machines, and resistance training tools. With a focus on serving active-duty Sailors, family members, retirees, and DoD civilians, the Fitness Center is dedicated to enhancing the overall well-being and health of its patrons.

Patrons of the Fitness Center can enjoy a range of services and amenities, such as a full-size basketball court, racquetball court, and the Outdoor NOFFS Zone. The facility is open to active duty, retirees, Reservists, authorized family members, and DoD employees free of charge, while civilian contractors and guests are required to pay a fee for access. Additionally, the Fitness Center offers personalized training sessions with free personal trainers for active duty personnel, as well as opportunities to join clubs like the 1000-Pound Club and the 100 Mile Run Club, fostering a supportive and motivating environment for individuals to achieve their fitness goals.
