West Ashley Gymnastics is a premier gymnastics and tumbling gym located in Charleston, SC. With a mission to provide excellent training and instruction in the sport of gymnastics and sports fitness, the gym prides itself on offering top-notch facilities and highly trained staff dedicated to helping children excel and reach their goals. The gym features a 10,000 square foot air-conditioned facility equipped with AAI equipment for training on Olympic events, as well as additional mats and specialized equipment like an air floor, Tumble Trak trampoline, and an Ultimate Ninja Rig.
Founded by Head Coach and Co-Owner Valerie, a former level 10 competitor and member of the Massachusetts National Team, West Ashley Gymnastics has grown its competitive team to over 100 members, producing numerous State Champions and Regional Qualifiers. Co-Owner Becky, a successful business manager with a passion for fitness, ensures the smooth operation of the gym. The team is further strengthened by Program Developer Randy, a former competitive college gymnast and experienced coach, who oversees the gymnastics programs and development at the gym.
With a dedicated team of coaches and staff, including experienced individuals like Head Team Coach Jordan and Boys Team Head Coach Tommy, West Ashley Gymnastics offers a range of programs for both competitive and recreational gymnasts. From coaching State Champions to providing quality instruction in acro and tumbling, the gym is committed to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for gymnasts of all levels to thrive and achieve their full potential.
