Detailed Information

La Luna Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy is a premier establishment dedicated to sharing the beauty and grace of rhythmic gymnastics with children through dance, ballet, and exercise. Founded in 2007 at St. Edward Park Gymnasium in Kenmore, WA, the academy has a rich history of nurturing young gymnasts’ minds and bodies. Despite facing challenges during the economic crisis in 2009, La Luna RGA persevered and found its permanent home in Kirkland, WA in 2010. With the support of dedicated coaches like Arzu Karaali and the community, the academy has trained over 1,000 gymnasts and continues to inspire close to 200 gymnasts today.

At La Luna Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy, our mission is to help gymnasts develop positive self-esteem, self-motivation, patience, and perseverance. Through the guidance of experienced coaches like Lyudmila and Arzu, our gymnasts have excelled in competitions, with 80% of our competitive gymnasts becoming National Qualifiers at the Junior Olympics each year. The academy’s commitment to excellence is evident in the consistent state and regional championships won by our competitive gymnasts. With a focus on fostering a healthy mind and body, La Luna RGA offers a holistic approach to rhythmic gymnastics that goes beyond physical training.

Since its inception, La Luna Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy has been a beacon of inspiration for young gymnasts seeking to explore the world of rhythmic gymnastics. With a strong emphasis on dedication, hard work, and passion, the academy has created a supportive environment where gymnasts like Maybelle, Karina, Hayeon, Erin, and Katherine from the “Best of the Best Group” can thrive. As the first rhythmic gymnastics program in Hawaii, La Luna Maui Academy, under the direction of Arzu Karaali and coach Sue Martin, continues to expand the reach of rhythmic gymnastics and inspire young talents across different regions.
