The NMSU Climbing Wall offers a thrilling and challenging experience for climbers of all skill levels. With a 28-foot tall wall featuring ten ropes for top rope climbing and opportunities for lead climbing upon certification, climbers can enjoy a variety of routes ranging from 5.5 to 5.12 difficulty levels. The bouldering wall section provides a steep and demanding environment with 20-30 problems in the V0-V7 range, allowing climbers to push their limits and improve their skills.

Managed by dedicated Outdoor Rec student staff, the NMSU Climbing Wall continuously updates its routes on a weekly basis, ensuring a fresh and exciting climbing experience for visitors. The facility hosts regular belay clinics for top rope and lead climbing certifications, as well as bouldering competitions each fall and spring semester. With a focus on safety and skill development, climbers are required to sign waivers and pass orientations before utilizing the wall, creating a supportive and engaging environment for climbers to hone their abilities.

As a hub for climbing enthusiasts at New Mexico State University, the Climbing Wall serves as a vibrant community space where students and Aggie Fit members can come together to challenge themselves and connect with like-minded individuals. With a commitment to providing quality instruction and a diverse range of climbing opportunities, the NMSU Climbing Wall is a premier destination for those looking to enhance their climbing skills and experience the thrill of vertical adventure.
