The Olney-Margolies Athletic Center (OMAC) is a premier athletic facility dedicated in 1981, spanning an impressive 86,000 square feet. It serves as a hub for Athletics coaches and Recreation staff offices, offering a wide range of recreational amenities. These include an indoor track, 8 Lane Sprint and 6 Lane Running Track, 3 Basketball Courts, 2 Volleyball Courts, and 2 Badminton Courts, along with Men’s & Women’s Locker Rooms & Showers.
OMAC upholds strict access policies, requiring all Brown / RISD students, faculty/staff, and recreation members to present valid ID cards or passes for entry. The center prioritizes Varsity Athletics scheduling, ensuring a conducive environment for athletic practices and events. Members can enjoy various equipment for recreational use, with guidelines in place for equipment handling and guest passes available for purchase.
With a focus on safety and respect, OMAC enforces rules regarding attire, behavior, and prohibited items within the facility.
