The Little Gym of North Raleigh/Wake Forest is a nurturing environment where children aged 4 months to 12 years engage in movement-based learning and imaginative play. Founded by Robin Wes in 1976, The Little Gym focuses on developing the whole child physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually. With over 300 locations worldwide, The Little Gym offers programs that promote flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, teamwork, cooperation, and leadership skills.
At The Little Gym, children progress through classes tailored to their age group, from Parent/Child classes for infants to gymnastics programs for preschoolers and grade school children. The gym’s philosophy of Three-Dimensional Learning emphasizes physical activity as a means to nurture children holistically, fostering growth in the dimensions of Get Moving, Brain Boost, and Citizen Kid. Through a variety of activities and gymnastics skills, children build confidence, skills, and social-emotional competencies essential for their future.
Parties and special events at The Little Gym, such as the Llama Llama™ and The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ themed adventures, offer children a unique and engaging experience. The gym is committed to making a positive impact on communities through its philanthropic and sustainability program, Big Hearts. With a focus on creating a supportive and positive community for both children and parents, The Little Gym ensures that everyone experiences serious fun while learning and growing together.
