TRAC is not only a premier sports facility but also the home of UIS Men’s & Women’s Basketball and UIS Women’s Volleyball teams. With a focus on providing engaging and fulfilling opportunities, TRAC offers a range of services for both students and registered student organizations. From arena courts to multi-purpose rooms, the center is designed to promote active learning, research, and civic engagement, aligning with the university’s commitment to empowering leaders and preparing graduates for societal contributions.
As part of the University of Illinois System, TRAC embodies a culture of excellence and innovation. With a rich history of over 50 years, the University of Illinois Springfield prides itself on offering a student-centered educational experience that extends beyond the classroom. By fostering a collaborative and intimate learning environment, TRAC and UIS aim to cultivate ethical scholars, leaders, and citizens who can drive positive transformations in local and global communities.
