The Trails Recreation Center, formerly known as Arapahoe Park and Recreation District, is a dedicated provider of exceptional parks, trails, open spaces, and recreational amenities for residents in unincorporated portions of Arapahoe County and Eastern Centennial. Established in 1982, the district oversees approximately 20 developed parks, 25 miles of trails, 3 facilities, and over 300 acres of natural areas within a 10.5 square mile area.
Trails Park and Recreation District’s mission is to plan, acquire, develop, maintain, and program parks, open spaces, trails, and recreational amenities for the residents of unincorporated Arapahoe County. The district prides itself on offering a variety of services tailored to meet the diverse interests and needs of individuals, families, and residents within the community. Whether it’s swimming lessons, dance classes, or family fun activities, TPRD aims to provide a range of options for all ages.
