Detailed Information

The Wellbeing Center, part of WFU Campus Recreation at Wake Forest University, is a hub for fostering lifelong wellbeing within the Wake Forest community. Committed to excellence and inclusion, the center offers a range of programs and services aimed at developing the whole person. More than just a gym, the Wellbeing Center serves as a community space for special events, studying, practicing wellbeing, and engaging in fitness and recreation activities.

With a history dating back to the university’s founding in 1834, the Wellbeing Center embodies Wake Forest’s dedication to student needs and personal growth. By combining efforts in wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion, the center identifies and engages student populations who may be less involved in fitness and recreation activities. Through collaboration with campus partners, the center develops tailored programs to ensure all students feel welcome and supported in their wellbeing journey.

As an employer of choice, the Wellbeing Center provides students with valuable opportunities for personal and professional development across its six functional areas. By offering a holistic approach to wellness and community building, the center aims to create a supportive environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.
