The USO Wellness Center, part of the USO Alaska organization, is dedicated to providing a touch of home and promoting healthy activities for military servicemembers and their families stationed in Alaska. With locations at Joint-Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage and Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, the Wellness Center aims to strengthen America’s military community by keeping them connected to family, home, and country throughout their service to the nation.
As a not-for-profit organization independent of the Department of Defense, the USO Wellness Center focuses on offering morale-boosting programs, family-strengthening initiatives, and outreach support to a wide range of military personnel, including Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, Space Force Guardians, National Guard, Reservists, and their families across the state of Alaska. The Center’s philosophy revolves around honoring the service of these individuals, lifting their spirits, and providing a supportive environment that fosters well-being and camaraderie.
Through tax-deductible donations and corporate sponsorship opportunities, the USO Wellness Center continues to expand its reach and impact within Alaska’s military communities. By offering volunteer opportunities and engaging with supporters through social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, the Center remains committed to its mission of serving those who serve and ensuring that Alaska’s military personnel receive the care, support, and sense of belonging they deserve.
