Detailed Information

The National Academy of Artistic Gymnastics (NAAG) is a renowned gymnastics institution founded in 1973 by Richard Mulvihill and Linda Metheny Mulvihill. With a rich history of training 17 Olympians and over 75 National Champions, NAAG offers both recreational and competitive programs for youth. Their philosophy focuses on instilling important life skills such as hard work, ethics, time management, perseverance, courage, respect, and appreciation for the efforts of others while nurturing world-class gymnasts.

At NAAG, children are welcomed into a fun, bright, clean, and friendly environment where every child is considered a champion. The curriculum is designed to provide a non-competitive, achievement-oriented program that not only enhances gymnastics skills but also fosters positive learning behaviors and improves physical motor skills, especially for preschoolers. The gym offers both recreational classes and competitive teams for boys and girls, catering to all USA Gymnastics Jr. Olympic Levels 4-10.

One of NAAG’s standout events is the Emerald Team Challenge, a prestigious gymnastics competition in the West that showcases the talent and dedication of their gymnasts. With a dedicated coaching staff led by Linda Mulvihill, NAAG is committed to providing a safe and supportive space for children to learn and grow, regardless of their gymnastics experience. Through their programs, NAAG aims to empower young individuals with the skills and mindset needed to succeed both in gymnastics and in life.
